Agate's Biography
Agate is a Norwegian metal/gothic/progressive/hardrock band spicing their music with oriental, symphonic and folk tunes.
The band was formed in 2004 by Mira Birkelid , Rune Torgersen, Tore Kvilhaug (gutars)
and Bård Westberg (drums) , both former members. After three years of developing the music, searching for the right characteristic sound
and crossing the borders of different music genre, the band came out with the first EP "Noble truth", des.2007. Agate is ambitious and hard working band, with both legs planted on mother Earth, knowing that nothing comes for free. There are no illusions, about becoming a rock star over the night and what is most important for us is to give our fans unforgettable, distinctive and particular music.
